I've pulled the turbo's out because after boosting they dump a heap of oil through the intake, so the oil seal has gone on the compressor side.
You can buy rebuild kits of ebay for around $85 each or the genuine garrett ones with new 360* thrust bearings will be about $350 the pair, or get a place to rebuild them for you for about $400 each. Balancing is around $65 a turbo if you decide to rebuild yourself

These turbo's were the first style of 2510's HKS made and so they are journal bearing not ballbearing. Compared to the new ones the threshold will be slightly higher but the lag will be the same.
With 360* thrust bearings they should be able to handle around 28psi

At the moment I'm looking for expressions of interest as to how much they are worth so I can decide if I keep them or spend a couple of grand and buy some big turbo's, I'm not really trying to start an auction so I'll put up a price of $800 the pair but feel free to make an offer, I'm expecting less

I may also include the HKS cast 5 bolt dumps, and all oil and water lines depending on what offers I get

Just so you know even with ball bearings they wont handle 28psi.
    same as GT28R turbos.

this is what i was told by Grant at per4manz, they have an inconel turbine wheel and with the 360* thrust he said 28psi shouldn't be a problem, not sure if they would still make power at such high boost but from what i've read the HKS modifications to the garrett they are based on are aimed at improving high boost perfomance
What makes you think they won't do 28psi?

because it has the same exhaust wheel as the GT28R 41.7mm.

max 22psi efficiently. (will go to 25)

How can you compare compressor performance with turbine sizing?

The A/R is too small to make any good hp anyway regaurdless of how much pressure they will create.

    easy !

you can put a mofo compressor pumping 30psi but you are restricted by the efficiency of your exhaust wheel..(can only flow so much)

notice the difference between gt28rs and gt28r performance?
same housings virtually same compressor wheel ..major difference is the exhaust wheel .. you know the dyno results.

    actually your right .
    didnt notice

they are small .. gt2510 come with .60ar and .64a/r

    these will perform like highflows

    $400?

HKS wheels and housings have to be worth something?
