Finally got the car on the dyno and I was pretty happy with the results. I picked a bad day to get it tuned as it was around 30°C during the day and not much better at night with high humidity. For this reason, the IAT?s got a bit hot so we didn?t touch high boost. Results were 431kw on a hub dyno with 710Nm of torque on 23 psi. Once I install my intercooler ducts and some water meth injection, the car is going back on the dyno and we?re gonna push it a bit harder. Trent and Cat at Chequered Tuning were awesome to deal with and I highly recommend them for any ECU tune. They are your best source for installing and tuning your Nistune. Congrats ! What are you trying to do bypass the 11's ? 123 MPH and 12.3 huh. Was that at 20PSI and 364 rwkw the 12.3 ?
Awesome... Thats all I can really say Chris in regards to the tuners, I dont have Nistune and dont intend on getting it. But I do have a socked ECU and a Romulator that can be played with. Do you know if they have experience with any other tuning software? Or do they Nistune themselves and would therefore be able to tune my car, and then just put the ROM into my ecu? Cheers
Getting even more anxious now to Dyno mine! Argh! I can't wait! Brilliant result, huge congrats on that! MoulaZX
Thanks all to your positive comments. im romanian the 12.3 was run on 20 psi and now i hope to get in the low 11's I'm not sure if Trent does stock ECU's but for the extra $200, I would just go for the Nistune board. Check out my garage for full specs. In short, rebuilt engine with 28rs's.
EXCELLENT RESULT . Do you have a dyno sheet you can post up .. just interested in the power curve.. not very clear on the vid
Were your wheels slipping on the rollers? Why that odd dip in two of the lines? Seems like Boost came on so fast and she started losing a bit of traction... that power curve has 'neck snapper' stamped all f'in over it! MoulaZX
