    My fellow Zedophiles,
I was discussing oil in the intake piping with my beloved mechanico last week who explained its quite normal for there to be oil in the piping as the turbos are well oiled some must get through, when it occured to me that after some 19 years there might just be a s**tload pooled in the intercoolers by now and draining them might be a good idea. Having never taken them out/off I am putting it out there to those that have .... do they get oil pooled in them and is it worth putting a drain plug in them ?
BTW went to Lakeside raceway on Sunday.... I see Zed's I see Zeds, I see Zed's....(sung to the tune of 'I see Red by Split Enz) can't get it out of my head.....

there shouldnt be that much oil in there. if its pooling i would be checking turbo seals!

a run on high boost should keep them fairly clean anyway.

    Benny_C About as subtle as...

As Madcow said, there shouldn't be that much collecting there even for a normally functioning 20 year old engine/turbos. There's issues if it's "pooling" to the point of needing draining.

...it would be just as easy to pop the front bar off and slide the IC's off and tip to them to the side and even flush them out with some carby cleaner to make them extra squeaky clean. :)
