SpaceZ and myself competed in [cabin]'s Drag Combat.Congrats to Rob for lowering his PB running a 13.4.I also set a new PB (YAY :YD) running a 12.71.
good stuff dude. musta got a awsome 60' time. i think ur zeds a freek.... musta been made on a wednesday. :YD cheers,Red Z.
Hehe... it was... ...1.8seconds!Get this, street tyres (no r comps or slicks) and with 40psi - straight street trim, ie stereo, all my stuff for the day and everything still in the boot!!!
great effort dude!! what was your last dyno?? and do you have any other new mods? that is a great time!
And I got to see it 1st hand! Not a wisp of tire smoke in the warm-up burnout, so didn't expect to see a great launch, but looked like on hell of a top end rush to get there. 12's is where it's at for a hot true streeter, well done Franz, I think I scared the dudes next to me when the time came up but
Last dyno... ...read over 335rwhp... but because of the stock intercoolers, we wound it back to about 310rwhp.All mods include boost controller (set at 0.96bar), pod filter, cat back exhaust, tuned rom. Did the run on regular street rubber (and at 40psi to prove a point to Brad ) and with all stereo stuff in the boot.
Getting closer....... I'll have to stop being so lazy and get my zed to the track again now a someone else is running in the 12's=) Well done :YD
Who else is running in the 12's here? I know we have a few quick track cars here, but have they run down the 1/4?
I don't know what I was doing right... ...but it worked.I did 2 runs in the arvo and one run later that night when the air was cooler (but the track was off then) and did two 1.9 60fts and one 1.8.
I hope to.......>> Get into the twelves on the next drag day here in Vic. At the Geelong Speed trials last year I ran a 13.08 in 40+ degree heat on a track covered in sand from the beach that it was next to. It also had a nice bend in the middle and 30+ knot head wind. New software and auto should also help a bit.:YD
