Monday (25/10/04) I got my license back and whilst doing so there was a slight problem getting my P's back. When I lost it, it was due to no points left, and i had just over two months remaining on my P's. So while at vicroads the attendant tried to re-issue my P's and the computer couldn't process them. Therefore he called up someone, had a chat, goes back to his computer and prints out a new form. All is well works fine. Hooray it seems. But one question in my head. Why now am I on a full license???
i had the same kinda thing happen when i got my licence back after loosing it on my P's the y gave me my opens. and when i got my mediom rigid truck licence they gave me motobike opens aswell:thumbsup: for all the shit we gotta put up with from the department of trandport, it feels kinda good to get somthing back.
I had sort of the same thing happen to me aswell I had my license suspended due to demerit points and i thought that i would get an exra 3 months added. But to my surprise i got my full license 3 years from the date of getting my P's. Its good to hear you got your license back Tim:thumbsup::LOL: Max:thumbsup:
I wasnt so lucky..... I lost my license for speeding many years ago, and I copped a $300 fine, 6 demerit point, 4 months suspension, 1 passenger only restriction, and 1 extra year on my P's. I was hoping they would forget the extra year, but they didnt. Cheers
I think if its only suspension then it doesn't generally affect your P's unless by court order. Different story though if it was drink driving and they were cancelled. :thumbsdown:
