It is hard to say......>> I have the Steve Millen biography at home and in it he does say that the 2+2 handles better then the 2 seater but I believe that FAQ from Ben is slightly wrong as in the book it says that Nissan changed from the 2 seater to the 2+2 and doesn't mention anything about running one of each. I'll dig it out tomorrow and post what it says if anyone is interested.
Depends on how you want it to handle In general, shorter wheelbase versions of cars are more nimble (ie corner more sharply), but tend to pitch a bit (nose up and down on uneven surfaces). Longer wheelbase gives more stability over rough surfaces, but less agile turn in. Under/oversteer is probably a difference as well, but I think that this will also depend on weight distribution and overhang. In the case of the Zed, I think 99% of drivers would be hard put to pick the handling differences betwen a 2 seater and 2+2, especially ones that are almost 15 years old, with different km travelled, different condition/brand shockers, wheels, bushes etc.
