Diff Question

is the diff froma 2+2 the same as a diff from a 2 seater (both turboed) i ask because i think my diff is on the way out as i just started hearing the thunk thunk thunk sound when rolling in netural and i just wanted toget prepared with parts when i take it to the mechanic tomorrow

subframe is the same i swaped a 2+2 NA >>

to 2 seater on mine had to change the handbrake cables thou only worked that one out after i got it back on the car and realised mmmmmmmm this aint guna work with the handbrake cables..

 

what was the reason you changed the

whole subframe rather than just the diff?

 

had a subframe with a diff in it >

found it easier to change the whole lot rather than pull the subframe off pull the diff out of both and swap them over. i was getttin a whurring sound from the diff i took off well changing it got rid of the noise anyways..
