    This is my second attempt at this post, so my apologies to the mods if it a double post.

    SA Zedders. After much ribbing about not getting in the pool during days it is below 10degrees, and neglecting pool parties, I am going have a tech day at my place. I'll supply lunch (BBQ), tools, test gear, welding services, machining, and space to work on four Zeds at once. And, a pool for those keen enough.
    Right so I have bribed you enough, now for my hidden agenda; I need help to put the Jeep?s body back on the chassis. It will take at least 5 of us.
    After this is done I am happy to help with diagnostic, welding (Stainless, Alloy, and mild steel), minor machining, general mechanicals, and pipe dreaming. However there are a few ground rules;
    1. All work needs to be done on the day. It starts at 10am and finishes at 5pm. I can?t store projects (been caught previously), but I have a car trailer if things go pear shaped.
    2. All tools get counted before anyone leaves, period, it saves accusations and maintains friends. Please don?t mix tools, use mine or use your own not a combination.
    3. If you use it or break it, please replace it. I?ll use the diagnostic gear, it is a little to expensive to replace if broken.
    4. I, like you, respect my privacy please don?t disclose my address and contact details to others (it is not a free for all). Note: No hangers on either, its a tech day!
    Don?t mean to be a nag just makes it a nice easy day.

    Finally, I have heaps of room. And, once the Jeep is done we will have four bays to work on cars. There is parking across the road too. But, please be conscious of what can be achieved in a day.

    So if you are coming (not just interested) let us know and what you hope to achieve. I?ll put together a ?plan-of-attack? this week, for those that submit work to be done. I need to know if you are going to be there for lunch and if you are bring someone (for numbers). Also, pm me your contact number so I can text you my details closer to the day.

    Over to you.

    Probably a little big there Vincent, however, we can probably pipe dream a little and work out a plan for you. Thanks Sparky, I am sure there are a few that need some new connectors.
    And, I love you too man.

    Hi Dave. I would like to express my interest in helping you with the jeep. As unfortunately the zed will not be registered. Plus the amount of work I wish to perform to our zed far exceeds one days work load. Lol. You know what it looks like. Haha.

    I will give you a call early next week to confirm my continuing interests and to gauge if my help is wanted. Currently dealing with some immediate family woes. So I'm sorry to not definitively apply myself to you tech day. But I will be in touch.

    Cheers chris.

    Heh, if it were another weekend I'd be tempted to put the project car on a trailer, grab an angle grinder and head over.

    Have fun guys!

    Sounds like it will be a good day, might see if I can tow my twin down and get some work done on it

    Please bring it down. The fact that you are trailering it means we can reall get stuck into some work for you, with out the fear of trying to get it back together before the end of the day (so you can drive home).

    Final Plan

    Right so it looks like the Tech Day work has boiled to the surface. The key work to be done is:
    Fitting the Jeep?s body.
    Tom?s heater core replacement
    SilverZ?s twin
    Simmo?s body work.

    Noting that Tom?s car needs to be back together at the end of the day, we better pull his car into one of the shed bays. And get started, straight after the Jeep. Tom can you make sure that you get here at 9am, also is there anyone coming that have replaced a heater core?

    The weather reports are showing it should be a fine day. So this will work well for the two bays out the front of the shed, so there is no reason why we can?t really get stuck into some good work.

    I am now PMing all who have indicated they are coming, with my number and address.

    Those that have indicated are;
    SilverZ
    fung9420
    sparkytheZmonkey
    simmo
    Sanouske
    300ZXC

    If you name is not there and you want to come let me know.
