Yeah but the ground work is there. Cosmetics is only surface deep. I'm gonna it you up with some questions when it comes time to my wire tuck
Go for it man. Just be sure to read the build thread closely first, as you can tell from my sig it can be tiresome saying the same thing over and over
Haven't posted for a while as I haven't really had much to say but now I have my new engine in with temperary turbos until my new turbos get rebuilt. New things in my car now are New engine Turbos HKS BOV's Exedy HD clutch Steering rack Big alloy rad Nismo cluster Sound system 2k tail lights And other bits and pieces I'll add some pics later but for now just this one
Thanks Mr G I had to pull the cluster again as the nismo temp gauge no2 resistor had failed causing it to go straight to boiling hot. Swapped the temp gauge from my old cluster to the new one. Test it and it was all good so in it all went again.
Good pickup on the cluster and glad you're actually smart enough to replace just a part of a faulty cluster rather than the whole thing - most people aren't. I never could get the LED's to light paint evenly. Pulled them out and went back to stock.
Cheers wanna swap for your vailside cluster I drove around for 4 months with my led's half lit with hot spots until I put them in this cluster. Depending on how you put them in depends on wether they light up properly. Take them out spin them around 90degrees and put them back in they will all light up evenly. I only worked this out this afternoon and now they look even more even then what the pic above shows
Received my hard pipes today and hit them with the Propane torch. Tomorrow im going to clear coat them. Very happy with the outcome.
Hey that's mad. Good work. You should know that after removing and refitting hard pipes more than a few times all that you'll want to do is smash them with a sledgie. Get used to heat gunning/microwaving the couplers...
Cheers bro OMG i got so mad trying to fit them, im glad its not just me stupid design. ill give the couplers a go ill have to use the torch though when i get my strut brace as i don't thing it will fit in the oven haha
Finally got a compressor that actually turns, A speed sensor as iv been driving for 5 months with no speedo and no speeding fines either haha. Also got myself a window switch.
Something i really wish i did not have to hide under the nose panel because they are seriously such a beautiful work of art.
OK Now that my new engine is in, I now have a good platform to start making this thing look like eye candy. so i fitted my hard pipes, first engine bay mod hahaha YEWWWW Everything else needs some serious TLC
