On the way to work tonight the zed was running like a DOG chugging and defiantly misfiring at idle I could clearly hear it miss and while driving it was chugging.
It use to have a slight miss when I got it at idle but never effected any thing while driving.
I dogged it to work seen as it was down hill I just coasted it most of the way after building some speed and the zed just keep going under its own steam then.
After work I poped the bonnet and pushed - fiddled with the connectors etc and I think it made it a bit better but not by much then I gave it a boost and it seemed to go away but some thing was there, then I filled up full tank of BP ultimate and it was smooth sailing ... What the ??

I also notice that the revs like to drop really low when I shift out of gear and sort of coast it to the lights, they drop down then pick up higher than normal then settle, is this normal?

    Not normal...

Someone else can make you a list of things, there are quite a few from coil packs, PTU, plugs, fuel, 02 sensors, bad connectors etc. Also probably sounds like your base idle needs adjusting. If you like you can probably pop around tomorrow with your car and I can have a look if you want. Just email me. Probably about half an hour to do some basic maintenance that should solve most of your problems.
