Hi guys, i am still trying to find out what is causing my for to run like crap before I tear out the engine and rebuild it. My question is, if there was an o ring that wasn't seated correctly, could that cause the cylinder to overfuel at idle and not fire and then work when the revs pick up? Basically the car doesn't fire on cylinder 4 at idle but it does fire when the revs get above 2k I am also getting huge backfires when off throttle. Beavis
Yes it can show the symptoms you've got. Could be that your overfuelling off throttle, which includes idle, and with more air your running. Your afrs can get to I think 6:1 before it won't fire at all, easy off throttle.
