awersum!! my zed is dirty also.. i washed it and the next day it rained, god i hate murphy's law >< lol Yeh morgan, ur zed sounds a little bit over 90dB xD if I had less than 3/4 demerit points i'd be all about getting a new exhaust... unlucky lol
dont be to loud my exhaust is worth about 3k sounds so nice but too loud, its one of the things I had to repair coz of the defect.
I don't think you do lose points, having your car go through roadworthy is stings enough. My exhaust is just one of the many things I need to take care of on my car, it's a growing list I think its sitting either on 94 or 96 db's at the moment. I am going to go deaf by the time I'm 23 Saw a nice white stock looking Zed the other day as I was heading to Hackam.

well i like most 300's have a tiwn system the coppa took a reading from one side and said 95 db i new it was loud but not that loud.
Mmm I wouldnt mind getting a reading, just to see where I actually do stand. I have a feeling I had a dodgy compliance... because a lotof mods on my car are JDM, and I was under the impression that they went over the car with a fine tooth comb. However even the tyres are Japanese, as is the suspension and a few other things. It was too loud to be complied, so the dude whacked some baffles in and got it just under 90 db, so it passed. I thought they would have picked up on that too?
I've seen the Stillen twin exhaust on ttz and it says "responsible sound" does that mean its under 90dB? Also what places in SA can do a decent job on zed exhausts?

Hey guuuuuys, saw a nice Silver Z on main north road this morning around 9:30, an aus300zx'er perhaps?
well it wasn't me my z was at home at that time, mite of been lovic he has a silver z. i keep seeing a yellow z now, its got a greedy front bar, i've past 3 times now going in the opposite direction on yorktown road.
actually on further inspection it may have been the guy in the passenger seat. with the beard that is. it was a fairly full beard.
lovic Z is kinda like mine but he has that little spoiler and gold rims with that black strip painted on the front like urs.
