    Can someone enlighten me as to where it resides on the ECU? Everything I see has a plug in it :eek: and yes, it's a noob question...

    under the dash drivers side, beside the kickpanel, quite close to bonnet release

    you ca do an on-ECU error code scan by twisting the screw potentiometer that is on the ECU, and counting the blips of the Red LED.

    I Wondered what that was, mines all in Japanese so I didn't touch it lol

    those Blips on the LED also flash in sync with the check engine light on the dash for easier viewing. (well mine do I am yet to find if all Z32's are made equal)

    lol - with 3 cars I have never seen the check engine light on. Just good luck I suppose ;)

    sorry I meant than when the trimpot is turned on the ecm that the check engine light flashes with the led on the ecm. I personally have never seen the check engine light on even though I had a dud set sensor at the start. that was throwing a code but I only saw it by going into diagnostic mode.
