I want to know the compressors that are supported on 300zx's... so I can source one for ours. Can you send me your part / serial numbers etc of name plate or even better a picture of name plate if you have access to it. And which gas that should be run in it. Thanks Gavan
Hi Gavan, This is the compressor I am running on my 1991 TT. Nissan specify R12A should be used however this is an end of sale product. Most AC shops recommend R134A, but a list of modifications need to be made to the AC system to accommodate R134A. I personally use Hichill Minus 30 and have found it great which is compatible with the Z32 AC system without any modifications needed. $24 for a 300g can from Bursons which will fill your AC system.
