Started a new thread not to hijack Badxtc. Looking at getting some Aragosta's from J land for my Z. The ones I am looking at are Comfort E spec but for a GCZ32. My car is a CZ32 (2 seat, TT, Manual) Is there any fitment differences? Since I cant find CZ32 spec'ed ones on Yahoo Auctions I was thinking they're the dame but I thought I would ask the brains trust. thanks
IIRC GZ/CZ is 2+2/2+0, if you're looking at coilovers that have been carefully designed then there might be a spring rate difference between them but most companies don't acknowledge the difference and sell all-purpose Z32 units so unless you want custom valved units set to your corner weights they should be fine.
Should be fine - but ask them first directly to confirm if you can! Use an interpreter if you have to but even will "will this fit a CZ32" should get a simple answer (even in Japanese) There's even a few jap speakers here that might help you - PM If you get stuck on this and I will point you in the right direction Cannot see why there would be any overt differences in spring / coil rates etc but have been caught out before on peculiarities with the various Z spec funnies now, that I go direct to the source first to confirm! Its also a variable question with variable answers depending on your intent... hence why I suggest confirming with them directly! JC :zlove:
You'll be fine, as touched on gcz32 just denotes 2+2 TT, it's just the more common chassis code so used as a default as such. Would love some aragostas myself but curious why your looking at the E's over the S model? Any difference other than the 1kg in spring rates?
Hey thanks for the reply's guys. I appreciate it. Looking at Confort E because my car will rarely see a track day do I dont need track focused suspension. I think the main difference between the E and S is the S has a duralumin body, harder spring rates and valving to suit.
