I have a set of racing logic coil overs.
They have 32 point adjustable dampers.

Front passenger damper adjustment screw is stuck at full stiff.
I.e it turns but doesn't "click" and actually adjusts the damper stiffness.

The others are fine BUT having one shock at full stiff and the others set a bi softer throws the car out've balance, kinda sucks.

    My question is...
Can the one shock be fixed?

    Can I do it myself?

I wouldn't expect buying 1 new damper arrangement would work either. Would unbalance me even further.

Unless you would consider adjusting the other three shocks to the same setting, you have three choices.

#1 Pull it apart & see if you can fix it, it sounds as though something has broken, stripped or worn out. :(
If you decide to tackle the problem yourself, bear in mind you will have to catch all of the oil in the shock & not contaminate it. ;)
    Racinglogic:
"Monotube structure to offer drivers the fine and direct communication with road surface.
The large tube design decreases agitation to the viscous oil within the shock and keeps the shock running cooler, providing more stable dampening in extreme conditions."

#2 Contact Racinglogic & see if they can repair it. ;)
Generally a high quality damper can be repaired, the cheap & nasty dampers can't, or they won't repair them as it's cheaper to replace the item with a new unit.
Also some dampers can't be disassembled.

#3 Throw them in the bin & purchase another set, perhaps better quality!

I've adjusted the other 3 back to full stiff.
It's quite stiff. And you feel everything on the road. Would be awesome for track if I could muster the courage to track it... Too scared of damaging my pride and joy. :p

I might drop racing logic an email and see what they can do..

And I've been thinking of a set of tein streets as they sound like a good comfy ride.
