Well at last i had time to clean my baby. went straight through from soap to cut and polish and waxing the beast. i also cleaned the wheels to make them nice and sparkly. it was a world record time of only 2 hours to clean the whole car. I am quite amazed because it looks beautiful unlike last time where i took 8 hours and it still looked crappy. well here are the pics: Oh I also have added the new aus300zx stickers. mmmmmm silver, oh so nice and sparkly. looks good...and nice and shiny :thumbsup:...takes me about 1hr to do my mags...i get so much brake dust on them :wacko:
I like a shiney car!! Espeically if it a black one too , but a clean car is a nice car. It usually takes me 1-1.5 hours to do mine
and the lights :LOL: just jokes buddy! looks clean! and isn't it great people can customise their zed to what they want... i know mine will look totally different to yours!

changing the rims i'm a first year aprentice dude. i wish i had the money to change the rims. i'm either gonna go 18" or 19" but at the moment its still in the wish list as so many other things are.
Re: rims i like the rims but i want nice simple 5 poke rims as these take so long to clean. although they look amazing when clean. i don't really like the whole wheel chrome. i'm going for some chrome lip gold spoke design. i love the look of the Volk GT-C (or type 2) rims, like the ones on the TOP SECRET 350Z.
apprentice apprentice wages must have gone up a lot since I finished :| How do you go cutting around the sticker on the rear gaurd? Looks good by the way, somehow the huge wing and tail lights work together. I normally don't like either by themselves but they look good together.
Re: apprentice the sticker was there when i got the car. there some more silver tape in the boot that i might replace it with. apprentice wages are shocking. at the moment i'm on $6.70 an hour (slave labour). i have to be very very careful with what i buy so i have enough money for things needed for my baby.

damn, that's harsh. I guess it hasn't gone up then You must be much better at managing money than I have ever been :LOL: What I meant about cutting was you said you used cut and polish. Doesn't the cutting compound eat into the soft sticker? I guess it wouldn't do much once or twice.

I guess it hasn't gone up then you go around it, far far away so you don't get close to it. it leanes that part less shiney but i put the aus300zx stickers after it was all done. the 300zx stickers i had to kep far away from. and yes cut and polish is not a stickers friend in any way shape or form. i'm doing a sign writing apprenticeship and have been doing so for the past 8 months. if anyone in the eastern subrbs of melbourne would like to take me on for a little more than slave labour than i would love to join your company.
Re: car looks good!!! i thought wax was so the water beads off so as it doesn't stay on the car. i heard that if your car is garaged you should wax your car at least 2 times a year and if it is in the elements most of the time you should wax it many more times than that.
