Cheap NA for sale! :(

Hey guys,

Putting up my zed for sale

it is:

a 1990 2seater NA 5spd.
206,XXX kms (it's my daily)
registered till March, but will not provide RWC.
Gunmetal Grey.
17inch Modena rims.
Front tires are very good

Bad Points:
-Exhaust has leak in it
-Rear tires are very bald
-Front rotors will probably need to be replaced
-Rear spoiler (stock) has cracks and some paint is coming off it.
-Body has some slight dings (nothing too noticeable)
-Left lower control arm is a bit bent from when i ran into a curb

Some idiot hit my right mirror (will replace before sale) and also my front bar is pretty rough (will replace with a decent tt front bar before sale).
Other than that, it's very reliable, has had 200,000 service, which included replacing the radiator. (and the usual 100/200k stuff).

Don't want to bullsh*t anyone, so feel free to inspect, but I'm pretty sure i've mentioned everything.

If you must know, selling because I want a TT, haven't been a P-plater in ages, may as well drive what P-platers cant!

wow thats cheap but don't sell your self short kirill, advertise else where, for 6k you will easily find a buyer.

I have a mate whos actually in the market for a car like a zed, I'll let him know.

Good luck with the sale. At least you're not leaving the Zed world though.
Have you thought about selling your car with stockie's and keeping the Modena's and selling them separately? They should fetch a good price.

Have thought about that, but the only reason I would want to keep them is to put on the next zed. I personally really like them, and when I broke my other rim, I bought the rims off another forum member. I really think they suit the zed, make it look just like an F-40.

If your'e in Darwin as retro zx is freight would be a real killer. Sydney-Melbourne or Brisbane seems to be around the $450-$500 mark.

But if somebody gives me a zed and petrol money I'd love to drive it to Darwin. So much better than work.

 

You don't have time to sleep. Get out there and pull the front end apart. Great fun.

 

Lol, I just realized where Darwin is (sorry, i'm not good with Aus geography) probably would cost just as much in petrol as the freight, no ?

When i first got my car (4years ago) it cost me $1000 not bad ,a couple of weeks ago i ring up afew freight companies to get a quote to freight a zed engine that i wanted and they quoted me $1000 :bash: why does a engine cost as much as a whole car to freight espacialy now with all the fuel prices that have gone up i would be looking at $2000 to get a car up here thats why i say freight to darwin is a killer

 

It used to be fun driving in the N.T when ther was no speed limit not any more the limit is now 130km :banned:

 

2 grand?? Jeez, that IS a killer!
it would be cheaper to just fly down and then drive back!
Had no idea it cost that much!
