Still working on them (the mold process is taking longer than we expected), we will be offering the bezels in "Double Din" and "Single Din with 3 Gauge Pods" options, they will be available in both stock and CF finish.....

You're absolutely correct, however my question and your subsequent response was deleted. But before it was deleted, the answer I got was to simply buy another set. Another member (in that thread) asked the same question due to his negative experience with a similar CF application and he got side-stepped with a vague response. Nice to see a warranty in place but it wasn't the question asked by either of us. Safe to say at this point in time, there has been no actual operational trials done for any period of time to determine their resistance factor.

 

What I am trying to say is that the company manufactured these items have been manufacturing carbon fiber products for other cars including engine covers successfully for past several years. I am pretty sure that they are using the exact same CF that they have used in other engine covers, hence, it is safe to say that the physical properties of the material (in this case CF) has been fully tested against high engine temps and UV rays.

Hi Adam,

I have just received a LHD DD sample and everything looks good! I am sorry but it will take another couple of weeks before the RHD version will be ready, the mold process took longer than expected and it is totally out of my hands.......

Just to let you know that our DD bezel do come with plastic finisher and the price will be around $150 + shipping.

$150 for the regular DD, DD in CF will be slightly more.......
