    Hey guys,

If anyone could pass on advice/recommendations, it'd be much appreciated. Recently purchased a Bomex front to replace my current Veilside C2 front bar. However, when taken to my panel guy, I was told that they couldn't (or wouldn't) be able to fit the Bomex bar, as in order to originally fit the Veilside front, the brackets had been changed, and these would now have to be redone- thereby not justifying the labour expense.

Any advice/insights would be appreciated; has anyone met the same problem- if so, any places they could recommend (Melbourne)or approximate costs associated with changing these brackets?

    Thanks again,

    Ari..

    Sounds like crap to me

Sorry I cant see how that would work. Aftermarket kits are tailored to be car specific, i.e. built to attach to the cars original brackets. At most they come with their own tabs undrilled so they can be lined up properly. I cant see how the original screw locations would be "removed".

Can't understand that, the front bar bolts to the front guards the same

and to the rad support panel extension the same way as well.
The only problems I have had with my Bomex front bar was there wasn't correct recesses for where the bar bolts to the leading edge of the guards. To get around this the fibreglass along this edge of the bar was ground out (about 2-3mm) to allow the finishing edge to match up correctly with the guard edge.
Any more clues as to why yours won't bolt up?
