Received a few packages last week and finally got around to fitting them last weekend. Thanks to Caz for the products and great service, few days max including stuff from overseas. Now to clean the rest of the engine bay and to further my addiction. Cheerz
looks good! it amazes me how much people will spend on shiny bits, me included... that's about 1k worth of blinged bits from caz/smithy yeah?
oo, oo, baroo ..that is just the beginning, lad ... looks good ...!!! and where did you pick up the s/s fuel lines from ...????
Very nice Tim Our cars have such awesome engine bays, its fun being able to add to the wow factor. But your certainly right about it being addictive.. :zlove: :zlove: :zlove:
Off to a nice start for sure! I tended to stock pile the bits until i was confident enough to do a plenum pull, and everything else that goes with it, i figured the less i handled the bling, painted bits ect, the more likely it would stay unmarked. A short stroll through the ages below!
whats the price gonna be on these caz, and can you get them with blue fittings, and am i right in assuming they will be usable without the polished filter, cause i replaced mine a few months ago, wont need a new one for a while..lol and finally,i take one if you can answer yes to all the questions!!!
i had a blingin weekend too..lol fitted new iaa pipe from caz, thanks again caz and fitted my 2000 spec lights today as well....mmmmmm they are so bloody sweet...
mmm will be getting blinged up this coming weekend hopefully!! will definitely have to consider those fuel lines when the bank account recuperates. copping quite a beating in the last month!! the problem is that its so addictive! once one thing is shiny, everything else has to be. i made the mistake of buying a strut bar, then the hardpipes........... got a bit carried away from there!!
S/S FUEL LINES AND FILTER Hi caroline Ill look forward to that GB ,when should you have the GB up and running, and are the TT the same as the N/A with the S/S fuel lines and filter cheers FISH:zlove:
Tim gets the "bling", I get the "ding". Damn! When are you gonna clean the radiator cowl and timing cover, son (I won't mention the plenum)?
War on bling... I hate bling but Beaver your engine bay looks amazing! Is your plenum painted or powder coated? Looks fantastic either way. :zlove: Evan.
Its just vht high temp paint, it hardens after its heated, shouldn't be a problem(lol) in a zed bay! Thanks for the comment Evan!
Only drama was fitting it around the other way which it hit the underside of the bonnet. Now the strut mounts only slightly touch the insulation. The brace itself clears the bonnet. Cheerz
