VIC Black 89 TT auto 2+2

Finally the black TT is up for sale.

This is the car I bought 6 months ago which I though was an easy fix .

Had a noise in the front of the engine which turned out to be the oil pump. A bastard of a job to replace I have to say.

It is running like a dream now, 175,000 Klms

I have repaired and or fitted

1) New oil pump,

2) removed and resealed the sump.

3) Done a complete 100K service including water pump, pulley studs and cam seals.

4) Replaced the steering rack

5) replaced the aircon compressor and drier and regass

6) replaced the steering wheel

7) Repaired dented under door kick panels and a key scratch down one side. Approx 1/3 of the car was repainted.

8) Painted brake calipers

9) Recovered targa trims and rear seat sides

10) Replaced stupid single exhaust cannon with good stock exhaust

11) All under car plastic panels where replaced and/or refitted as many where missing.

12) replaced stereo surround

13) Replaced front tension rods with urethane parts

14) Fitted new antenna mast

Tyres on stock wheels are road worthy and rear fin is in good nick with no bubbling.

The car isnt perfect. The drivers seat has the customary tear and the rubber trims under the side windows need replacing. It could also do with a new targa hook.

The stereo needs attention. The rear speakers need replacing. But the Pioneer head unit and front speakers still work well

But in all its looks terrific.

The car is currently unregistered. I will post pics up if there is any interest

The entire car's paint was cut by the panel beater when the paint was done.

It presents very well and should be reliable

Saw this car when Graham was removing my locknuts. To say it's clean is an understatement. Paint is immaculate, even the spoiler doesn't have a spot of bubble or anything!

With a good wax and detail it would look even better. Just noticed it needs a new battery cover.

We dont need roads where were going. Looks like your still @ it, only this time turning DeLorens into 300ZX's. BTW I picked up those parts I was chasing. Turns out the block I bought it off also had a black Z, long gone now.

 

That could be another projet car for LOWZX and ZXTCY - at least its black.

Looks pretty nice, (i saw the sticker too i just didnt want to say anything)
