Upon installing you magically become an expert drifter?

I thought these either went over the top of or replaced your hand brake button so you have a more accurate and larger spot for your thumb to do it's business.

    I could be wrong though.

hahaha, it replaces the button on the handbrake, yes

But when installing it you also remove the spring inside the handle, that way when you press it in it doesn't come back out, hence you are able to pull the handbrake without having to hold the button in. The onlt reason you can't just keep the stock button and take out the spring is that it will go into the hadle ad then (when you want to park the car) you can't pull it out again to make the handbrake work as per normal. Hence, the only reason you would get a drift button is for the shape (ie the lip that would stop it from falling all the way into the handle)

Or you could just be a big boy and hold the button in when drifting, or maybe even just jam something in to hold the stock button in with the spring still in it...

    and....

The shape of the Z handbrake button is actually an oval which means that the drift buttons don't fit correctly from memory.

If i'm wrong, feel free to correct me.
