Hey zedders, When cold starting the white tt z a belt presumably the air con belt screeches for around 10 seconds. The belt is new so im assuming it needs tightening. How should i go about this? Cheers.
screech at startup usually the alternator belt,have you had a look at the deflection of all your belts and seen which one requires attention
just tighten it a few turns, look were the compressor is and the braket holding it in then at the part of the bracket that points to the ground there will be a bolt there you can turn to adjust the tension

Fixed this, was the tension of the belt attached to the water pump. Took off the engine splash guard, tightened the tensioner bolt on the driver's side in small increments and checked belt deflection against the deflection in the manual (7mm). Hope this helps anyone with similar problems.
