    hey guys,

I have a problem with my battery terminal connectors.
No matter how hard a screw them on to the battery they keep breaking lose.
I bought new connectors but I noticed that if I was to cut the wire and attached the new connecters the connectors would be too short to reach the battery.

Does anyone know if the wires are easy to replace or extend?

    thanks

Take it to an Auto sparky and get some new cables with ends made up.
    should solve ur problems

you have the wrong battery then
Ive cut all the original terminals off our 3 zeds and all of them reach with a new terminal no problems
Either get the correct battery of move your battery over slighty,it will be a hell of alot cheaper than going to an auto elec !!

You dont get them off the shelf in autobarn, they are in the cabinet,i got the gold plated ones and they are perfect :)
You can also get good gold ones from jaycar,jb hifi and most autoshops

ill go look daz,2 zeds have the same battery,t/t has a different one ,all are ok with new terminals
You have to remember the battery listed does not take into account the cutting the old fitting off and putting a new one on
Ill post it up later for you if you want to change to one that fits,Si

i've changed my battery a few times and my wires reach, but if i were to cut them to put new ends on they'd be too short.

get the bits you need and call a mobile sparky - it will cost you bugger all and they should do a good job.

i got a switch put on mine a few years ago, asked the guy to come round and fit it, didn't charge me in the end. took him all of 10mins and the guy was in a good mood after i offered him a can of coke on a hot day.
