so got my 300zx about 1 & 1/2 months ago and everytime i would walk out and see her i couldn't help but smile. til tuesday last week when i walk out and this is what i see... no note, no one has come and spoken to me in over a week and the car i know did it always leaves real early in the morning and comes back after dark and they have their gates shut so i can't get photos of my paint on their car, but as the cops told me wouldn't mean anything even if i could....

Park it off the road if you can in future. Like the cop said not alot can do but if you get a chance measure the height of impact where the scratch is & go over to your suspect neighbors with a beer in the weekend to ask if he hasb seen anyone hit my car, be friendly & see if you can check out his vehicle. don't suspect him/her then you'll find out. Better to know who did it, then you can plan something.........in future...........................Or trust the old carma.... Another tip if parking in supermarket park, park it well away in an emtpy space, because alot of people don't give T#SS when opening their doors. Cheers, hope you get it fixed asap.
my old scout leader's son was a panel beater and is doing it for me. Was about to buy materials to make a ramp for my driveway so i don't scrap my nose, the curvature of my road is crazy, the couple of times i have had it under the carport to do some work at night i used planks to not scrape. always do park it away from other cars at supermarkets and avoid peak hours in such places.
Sucks big time. Use old planks to get the car in the drive. Remember revenge is a dish best served cold.

so day 1 of repairs is done.... this freaked me out but luckily rust didn't go far and definately best it was found now rather than have fully rusted it out. cleaned up pretty nice and bog'd up pretty well (though my mate stuffed up his first coat of bog as it was taking too long to dry)
i just ran out side freaking out coz 3 guys were jumping on there own bonnet next to my 300zx, Luckily for them by the time me and my brother got there they had left
...must learn to run outside faster.... heard crunching sound from outside over at my brothers last night, ran outside to check just in time to see someone jump back into their car after looking at my car after reversing into it, almost died. went to the house we presumed it came out of, the wife wasn't happy her husband had hit something with reversing sensors in their car, and when the hubby got back 5 -10 min later (he was picking up his son from some sporting thing) he came over and we had a chat about it. gotta get some quotes now and decide wheter i just repair it myself and take some cash for new bumper down the road or go for professional insurance job. bit scared though as the headlight wasn't working after but the fog light that actually got impacted still did.... ( if things keep going this way by the end of the year i will be driving a twin turbo powered pile of body filler.... /sigh)

Wow man thats bad luck. Maybe park it in a different spot. Seems to me that your neighborhood is full of people that just dont give a stuff. Or invest in some of those ultra high vis safety cones, and place them around your zed when parked. Surely than they will realise, there is a car parked there.
