another day, another thread... Converting a TT auto to NA manual box. using the TT auto diff and want my speedo to read correctly. Ive done a little reading suggesting that the auto speed sensor will not work on the manual box. but I have both of them... Can I just take the gear wheel off the manual speed sensor and put it onto the auto speed sensor? my other option is to run a speedomotor correction kit (as I have done in the past with conversions into cars with different diff ratios than originally fitted) and use my NA manual speed sensor in the factory auto TT car
TT auto speed sensor is part number 25911-40P11 & the pinion gear is 32743-35F18. TT manual speed sensor is 25911-40P01 & the pinion gear is 32743-30P18. NA manual sensor is part number 25911-30P10 & the pinion gear is 32743-30P20. You require a TT manual sensor & pinion.
