http://cgi.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=2470539217&category=36607Be interested to know the quality and if they were worth it. I've e-mailed the guy to ask the lumens, etc, but have got no reply.Let me know asap. Thanks in advance.CheerZ Vince
yeah, had these, not much better than stock, the blue tinge in the beam give a slight improvement in vis. the stated power draw of 110W is a little inaccurate, they only draw about 30-40W making them as dull as stock.go for local made 100-130W blue bulbs and check the current draw before throwing away the recipt.:YD
Any brand you recommend and where to buy?... I am after the H3Cs which is why this guy caught my eye. Advice appreciated. CheerZ Vincent
I found this site while searching.... ...for H3C bulbs Click Here ,fairly expensive but they do have a good range of H3C bulbs
That is rediculous........>> Just do the mod described in this tech article and then just buy 100w Narva globes from Repco for $6 each.
Lumens is the important figure... ... Have a read of the Tech article I wrote for some figures to compare against:What Type of Headlight Bulbs to Buy?cheers, Rob
Philips I've got a set of bulbs made by Philips. I threw the box out the other day so I can't remember the name. They are 55W and sold at Autobarn. Just as bright as the 100W bulbs I had in there and kept on blowing. I bought them off the shelf as H3's but you could ask if they can get the H3C's in for you. See Ya, Garry
Strangely enough.... ....thats what I did today after driving around for the last 4 days with a headlight out while trying to get a new bulb. Works well, though Im going to seal the wires going through the rubber boot with some foam to stop the dust
