In my ealier post, i meantioned that i could hear deep clanging noises come from under the car.. but at only at low speeds..

I recently put in a one piece drive shaft.. but the noise is still there.. seems worst when im reversing...

Anyone one got any ideas what the noise could be?? or a qualify mechanic i could take it to? any where in Vic?

    thanks JImmy.

ive heard rear subframe bushes can cause clunking?

please dont take that as gospel, happy to be corrected if wrong, but im almost certain that it has been accused of causing of what you describe before:zlove:

odds on i'ld say its a diff noise, common to hear it more in reverse (has to do with the wear angle etc)
having said that it still could be a diff bushing letting it "torque" (<-- i hate that coloquialism) up agaist the xmember etc..
