Anyone know a good place where I can get Amsoil oil 10W40 and a filter and also engine flush in Brisbane?

I think Eric at a2zed would suggest running high dispersant diesel oil rather then a flush.

I think flushes on old highly cruded up engines can cause more harm then good and changing more frequently with moderately priced oil is a better strategy then less frequently with expensive oil.

Give him a call and have a chat about your situation and goals, he usually has something intelligent to say.

10W40 might be a bit light for older engine warm weather conditions.

Im just running a flush because the car has been sitting in the garage for 9months without it being started. so I wanted to flush it before putting in new oil.

Be very wary of running a flush IMHO. The crud can be holding things together, or a surge of pollutant in the oil can block and mess with stuff, not a great idea unless a last resort.

Give Eric a call he loves sorting cars that have been parked for a while. :D
