AUS Alpine Head Unit & Ipod Interface

...because I keep changing my mind... bought this gear from Mark/Jedi-77 a little while back, still haven't fit it to my car before changing my mind and heading in another direction.

1. Alpine CDA-9855 Head Unit
This is the Alpine CDA-9855. It comes with 3, 4v Preouts to allow connection of your front, rear speakers and subwoofers to an Amp. Being a tuners unit, it comes with Time correction, Crossover adjustment and both parametric and graphical equalisers built into the unit. So need need for external crossovers or other devices to tune your stereo as you see fit. There's a whole heap of other features present in top of the line Alpine units and a quick google search will give you all the info you need.



2. Alpine KCA-420i Ipod interface

The KCA-420i is an ipod interface that connects to the back of the CDA-9855 via the Ai-net interface. This allows you to connect your ipod and control it from the stereo. I had this unit sitting behind the headunit, with the cables feeding into the glovebox where my ipod was connected. Easy to install, just 2 cables. One plugs into the head unit. The other into the iPod.



I'd prefer to sell these as a package as one really compliments the other.
