i've instaled a huge FMIC, bought a polished air guide but havent instaled it yet.
so my radiator dont get enough air right?
does someone of u know what can happen to my car if i dont instal the air guide? overheating? etc ...?

could it be related to this probleme?
i was driving my car all the afternoon, then i went home for like 1 hour, and when i went back in my car, the engine was ******* hot (even with the turbo timer) then when i was driving, my car wasnt working very well, it was acting like if it havent enough air for the combustion with petrol, made black smoke and petrol smell ...

i might bring the car back to the garage tomoz to fix it.

but could it come because of the radiator or air pod filter?

    I doubt it

The FMIC will put added strain on the cars existing cooling system especially if its not up to spec maintenance wise. The air guide will prevent air seepage around the radiator and will help in a limited fashion.

You have it put it on and see what happens then. IS it full width or the smalelr centre only type one

i could be wrong but did think that the original UAS

rad guide group buy was talking about a possible up to 10-15% cooling improvement .. but could be wrong ...

The theory behind the radiator airguide is that channels air through your radiator that otherwise escapes around headlights etc.

With a nice big FMIC blocking your rad it's adviseable to get a vented centre panel such as this one

to allow some air to your rad without having to pass through FMIC/Oil Cooler/etc

There are lots of designs to choose from but in your case remember you're going for airflow, not bling.

Also do a search for thread "UAS front bar, Plazmaman FMIC and custom undetray install" on www.oz300zx.com, it has some pics from my FMIC install which also includes an alloy under tray running from the FMIC to stop air escaping out the bottom.

oh yeah, should've waited for your sig to load :D

Has your other problem only started since the FMIC went in? If yes start by checking you don't have any vac leaks from the install
