Really it's that easy is it? Wholesale on these kits that include fittings and incidently suit more than one type of injector is more than a couple of hundred dollars... I will have to tell the performance shop i'm dealing with that they are going about this the wrong way... Appreciate your intentions however given that we don't have details yet it's a bit early for criticism and hard to draw comparisons.

I didn't say it was easy, nor did I say they are going about it the wrong way. I said that is an option and it WILL be cheaper that way because you're not paying the middle man. Most people are lazy though and can't be arsed sourcing stuff themselves I realize and companies know this so they can charge the world for anything and people WILL pay it lol

Any monkey can walk into a machine shop and say please make this for me as well.

A really smart monkey would make it themself. But who here has the time, expertise and equipment to do something like that?

    Wow that is cheap

Fantastic and where is this machine shop that will do this?? Are we talking about the same things, as very complex and one offs are very expensive? I have a pic but in the wrong format to post and I don't know how to change. Maybe Rob can post it as have sent him pics?
They are billet alloy and larger internals with threaded internal ends to put dash motorsport fittings for twin feed and twin re turn set up.

Really? That's why there's so many custom fuel rails getting around right? Lots of group buys going on for fuel rails made in Australia? Uh huh! Good one...

Yes they would, but just about nobody has the equipment to do it so that's why you find a professional... Hey I couldnt give a rats ass, if you want to pay TOP dollar for simple convenience then sure go ahead.

Sheesh, I dunno what some of you are going to do in 10 years time when not much in the way of "kits" will be readily available for the Z32.

I never said any one specific shop, I just suggested it as an alternative as to buying rail kits from the USA. My point was that all it would take is one person who wants these made up and to find a few more who are interested and a group guy could be organized and save everyone here a whole bunch of money.

But whatever, spend away people! What do I care?! lol

1 minute you're telling everyone how easy it would be, the next your trying to say it's not, make up you mind.

My point was since all your doing is going to a professional and asking them to make something for you, it's not really any harder than ordering a kit off the net, except that you have to actually go to the shop instead of clicking a few buttons.

It is more risky, as your not buying a known good product. It may be cheaper. But I don't think paying a few hundred extra for piece of mind is a waste of money.

I was referring to the point that it's easy to get organized, i.e opening up the phone book and making a few phone calls.

The point you're missing is that what I'm suggesting is EXACTLY the same thing the place selling that kit would of done. Silly me for thinking anyone here would actually want to do something for the community because it takes too much effort, keep it spendy that's the way! :)

I cut the ends off the OEM and braized on some AN

fittings and also cut the original inlet outlet pipes off them and braized the holes up. Takes a couple of hours to do and costs about $20 in fittings :)

You got it going on again and can do this but few of the guys on her havthe equipment or ability to do this. We did same on my car which runs factory modified same to have twin feed and twin return though. Size and flow wise it si pushing things a bit for more power though.

300zxt all good trying to help each other, that is what it is all about here. As long as it is actually viable. There is a lot more to just clicking your fingers as such.

    Would you

be kind enough to share a pic or two with us chewy? I have a spare set off rails and was thinking along the same lines.

Definately, the idea is out there anyway. Just think how much cash people would save on shipping alone if alot of these "kits" were made available locally here in Australia. If a machine shop is garunteed at least 10 units or so they'll be very negotiable on the price...

What about a rail that converts to top feed as well while we are at it - cheaper and easier to get injectors then

    Found this

setup @ ttnet. Not ideal, and imo a little messy, look at the feeds. I'm sure they could have been better placed. This guy ran twin pumps did all the work himself, and had pressure tested each rail under water to eighty psi, nice effort.

They look VERY similar to the aftermarket rails for the Z31, some guys i know are running over 600rwhp with rails similar to those.

    Pics of UAS fuel rail

OK guys got some pics of the UAS fuel rail. The fuel rails are machined to suit Nissan factory injectors (pictured), toyota body side injectors, and mazda body side injectors as sold by SARD.

The rail is alloy and features increased internals and 9/16UNF thread, it can be setup for twin in twin out which is ideal for BIG horsepower cars with big fuel needs. This will help prevent fuel starvation at cylinder 6. I believe that with this style of rail the pintle will actually protrude further into the chamber than with the 200 degrees style.

Group buy price would be roughly $550 including quality AN fittings -first step though is to get one fitted up to my car to make sure everything is going to work as planned.

    hot damn

They look mint and sound excellent.

Will the fact they protrude further into the chamber cause any clearance issues?

So long as thats all ok which if they are made for our car they should be then i'll be down for a set to suit SARD injectors. Will this mean I wont need the collars that I got in the last buy?
