The time has come, I would never have thought it possible but after five years, I?m selling my Z. The reason; I?ve just purchased a 2004 Holden Monaro CV8 so the Z and my daily driver have to contribute to the finance. I did look at a 350Z but I need a back seat. Details: Year: Sept 1989 Model: Targa top, 2 seater Spec: Japanese model, imported in 2001, I?m the only Australian owner Trans: Automatic Engine: Normally aspirated Km: 120,xxx Body: Black, no kitt or mods, comes with extra front bar (in red) Interiour: Grey cloth trim Modifications: Auto transmission cooler, pod filter, big exhaust Sound: Sony head unit, Kicker 5 channel 65wrms amp, 2 x Pioneer 6inch splits in front, 2 x 6inch bass in rear I purchased the Z with 55,000km on clock, I tend to think that was accurate due to the good condition with only a few tough-ups ect. Since then the highway and the Coles car park have taken their inevitable toll, so she has a few scratches and minor dings but nothing a little TLC wouldn?t fix, with a good polish she still scrubs up ok. I had planned a respray and bought a front bar but plans change. At 60,000km I dropped a timing belt, so I had a motor and trans from a front cut with 30,000km on the clock put in. So the motor in the car has 30,000km less than what?s on the clock. This motor has been 100% and given me no trouble, I change the oil every 5,000km and at 105,000km I had a full 100,000k service done. Six months ago I put a new rack and pinion, front end bushes ect at Pedders, and the tyres have done 5,000km. I have a Word doc with every dollar I ever spent on this car along with all receipts, except for stereo, I don?t want to know how much that cost. That doc will be available to any one who makes a genuine enquiry. Mechanically this Z is 100%, I?d sell her to a friend without any hesitation. The Z has Victorian rego on it until May next year but I?m located in Wollongong NSW. I?m not sure what?s involved in transferring the rego to NSW, but I?m happy to help out with the process.
