    Hi everyone,

would anyone be keen to give me a hand doing a manual conversion? I have all the parts required + fluids. DIY Garage (Malaga)
    https://www.diygaragewa.com.au/services
has a hoist so intending to take it there - unless someone can recommend a better and cheaper place. Planning on hiring a bay for 2 full days (8am to 8pm), which should hopefully allow enough time to complete the conversion.
I'm limited to tools so please bring some as well if you can.
Would be grateful if anyone can kindly come and give me a hand.

    Dates: 29th & 30th April 2017
Time: 8am - 8pm (both days (if required), as that's the times the shops open and close)
    Location: 7/242 Beringarra Avenue, Malaga

    Thanks in advance

    pmac Z,, IT'S COMPLICATED!!!!!

I'll be there and I have plenty of tools. 1 exception is a long extension to remove the trans bolts.
Do you have the correct pilot bush for the g-box main shaft?

Be good to get a couple more experienced guys, one to do the wiring at least.

Mmates place is more expensive I think.

To be completely honest, no clue but assuming Scott chucked in everything that's required to complete the conversion.

Mmates is almost double the price. Both garages are about 45min drive from mine but prefer to go to the cheaper one.

Just a couple of tips since it's a bit far for me to come and help.

It's a good idea to go over all the bolts you'll need to remove with some penetrating lubricant before you even bother getting it on a hoist, especially the exhaust if you haven't already taken it off lately. I'd give it a dose or two each with WD and inox over a few days to give it a chance to work in.

Also, if you haven't read it this thread will probably give you a good idea of the snags you'll hit, should be lots of others around the 'net too. http://www.aus300zx.com/forum/showthread.php?t=335865

You might like to put up pics of all the parts you've got so that if anything important is missing there's a chance someone can let you know before you've got the car in pieces.

So looks like might have to push back the date by couple weeks. Somethings come up and won't be able to fund the DIY garage next weekend. Really sorry guys :(
