Its now running Fixed the oil problem pritty quick this morning, just had to prime the oil pump. Tracked down the injection problem. A bit of a cluster f***, did all the wiring and forgot to connect up the power supply to the injectors. A bit of work now need to tidy up the harness again Tomorrow the brakes are going to get bleed and them I can drop the old girl back on its feet and move it out of the garage
Awesome news m8! Glad its all worked out for you and kudos for all the patience! Looking forward to seeing it in action
Well done. Now the tune... and....the months of refinements. I found after doing my V8 conversion that I went back over things again and have been stuck in the never ending process of improvement. You'll find the same I guess. If you get your car engineered then the crazy engineer will most certainly find a sheet load of things for you to revisit. I found with mine that I am struggling to keep the thing quite. ie. the exhaust note and bark is a give away that there's more than 6 cyl under the hood. You'll find the extra bottom end torque is great for baggen m of the mark.
Out of the garage under its own steam Drove the car out of the garage today. The thing sounds like a snarling bear with a bad attitude. Took a lot fo hard work but finally got it running before the end of the year. Its now going to be so much easier to move house early next year.
Good for you So many people start projects and give up, not many have the guts to keep going until it's finished. Good luck, just make sure it is finished completely so you can enjoy.
Time for an update Progress as been a bit slow this year. Moved back in to my place a the begining of the year and spent most of my time & money on repairs & renovations. I,ve got the air intake and wiring all finished. There was a lot of work in relocating the fuse box to the other side of the engine bay The front brakes have been replaced with Skyline R33 calipers and DBA 4000 T3 rotors Fitted a Ford Falcon bonnet bulge to the bonnet to cover the big hole, looks good. Paint finish not to crash hot though, not done paint spraying in years Sorted out the bush problem with the front sway bar. Its an after market bar 29mm dia. Couldn't find out who made it, so I got some universal polyurethane swaybar bushes from SuperPro. With a couple of small mods they fitted perfectly Got a lot of the interior back in and the tacho now reads the correct revs. Next big job will be to sort out the front suspension so the car sits level, would like a set of Tein coilovers but most of my cash is going on the house But I'll keep at it, determined to get it back on the road
Hi Andy , love your work mate, cant wait to see this running in person and on a cruise. Slow and steady wins the race also do right the first time. Great work.
Slowly getting there, determind to get it back on the road. My new plates are waiting at the department of transport - GAWK Started cleaning up the front bumper. Its been painted more times than the Sydney harbour bridge, peeled of some paint about 1mm thick. Plus its been in an accident at some time. A bit of time and some elbow grease, it will look a lot better

Temporary Movement Permit I have finally got my ZX back on the road after 8 years. I got a 2 day temporary movement permit and went for a test drive. This thing is MAD, totally manic There are a few small thing to fix up and the next step is to get the engineer to complete his report so I can get it over the pits
