hi your posting in the wrong forum mate your 400rwkw was done on c16? according to zoom mag, 320ish on pump gas? we do have a few high powered zeds on the forum. 'ZisLuv' is pretty close to your c16 figure and is still running on pump gas. Have you run a quater on your car yet?
Pfft C16 is for pussies Cause I dont see too many C16 pumps around at the servo. Mine runs just on 380rwkw in full street trim which includes premium unleaded only. Next time it goes for some work then yes I will nicely beat your 400rwkw and still be on pump fuel.
...and then he rolls over and falls out of bed! Big call making that much power and will only prove it to those that have more. Put your money where your mouth is; if you can, then you have my respect!
Well if its the same guy that was in zoom then from memory he was making something like 370 at the wheels on c16, so maybe hes done some more mods/tuning but I agree, lets see the graph.
like it or hate it but ZisLuv's car makes better power on PUMP and also has a good power curve, the power curve in the zoom mag sucked ass, no offence. There are a lot with power like that but a dyno figure means shit all to them.
making 400rwkw is nothing suprising moving from 370 to 400 especially on c16 sounds realistic to me so i wouldnt need to see another graph to believe it. That being said chances of a car making a perfect round figure like that is very little so he porbably rounded it up. It seems according to the zoom article, and jpc300's 1st post and profile. That all he cares about is knowing that he is the most powerful 300zx in australia. Im no big fan of dyno queens so just run a quatermile and see who comes out on top, i'll put my $50 on nathan's car :zlove:.
Did you finally install the Electric Blower in the intake path ohh my god thouse milaka cams must be doing the bit!!! Ant
yeah I installed the PC fans just before the turbos to help prespool the turbos I also don't run cams but instead I use 24 solenoids to open and close the valves to give continuous variable valve timing.
nice numbers. you going to bring your zed to the Melbourne Dyno Day ? i'm sure a lot of people would like to see a 450kW zed put through its paces. also would be good to compare against other zeds on the same dyno.
Question to Zisluv? I am new to the 300zx scene and have read the specs for your car.... Very Impressive. How much has this cost you to get all those mods to your car? Also who are the Z specialists in WA? Just curious! Cheers
Well I know he will stop it as it has good brakes as he bought my 6 piston AP Racing front calipers and 365mm rotors. Richard was only stating what he made on dyno and to see if anyone has more. He may have done more to the car since that article?
You know if you ran rotary valves instead of those pissant solenoids that restrict flow too much, you could probably get 666 kW in neutral . But then again, if you insist on running standard valve configuration, did you know that spinning the PC fans in the same direction as the valve rotators gains a few extra kW in the upper rev range? Running them in the opposite direction can stall the airflow around the valve seat
Geeze, being a bit harsh to the new member.... ....I dont see what all the animosity is toward him, he's just asking a question(why the hell would it get VTD,ed?) Welcome to the forum Richard, keep up the good work:zlove:
