Hey guys I've been told about a 300zx for sale in blacktown/sevenhills A tow truck driver is selling it and I was just wondering if some one off here previously owned it. The only info I have one it atm is that the plenum is off, it has defects its a 4 seated and may be an 89 model. he only recently purchased the car and is looking for a quick sale but im worried it may have engine problems, i was hoping someone off here could shine some light on it
Unless someone can tell you about the car , be prepared for a rebuild . Things can only look up from there . Also check out the rego situation . A lot of people get caught with not having the right criteria fro rego . good luck Karl
Sounds like bad news. Sounds as if he bought it, got stuck into fixing it, realized it was a big job and is selling it on. But that's just how it sounds.
I know the towy he just buys then sells Yeah thats the whole reason i jumped on here to find out if anyone had info i was thinking because it was defected that it was an emisions and the owner was putting the egr back on???? What do you reacon but id love it if anyone new anything about the car I'll post some photos tomorrow when i go see it maybe someone will reconize the car and have some info on it i hope
Update on the car its a 2seater targa black fairlady and pretty stripped in and out motor looks pretty bad cas cable looked like a it shorted out, the motor had been exposed to the elements and the body is straight but the paint is far from good I offered him 500 do you guys thinks its worth it Ps the car is gonna be used for parts and maybe later on as a stripped track car
Sorry what I meant by stripped was most parts were removed and put inside the car :S its auto soo a big downer also fairlady's are turbo yeah.... This was an na, probs some kid slapping a badge on it yeah
They are ALL Fairlady's. Fairlady does not denote whether it is a Turbo or NA. In some markets they were advertised as Fairlady's, whilst in other areas they were sold as NISSAN 300ZX Z32's(in either TT or NA format).
To clarify...Fairlady = japspec. Aus-specs weren't Fairladys. But of course, 2-seater means it's a Japspec anyway.
