2nd Shagged Brake Master Cylinder

Nope, but my car does sit for long periods of time. That 4 years probably equates to 20,000km max.

 

What was the end result --- was it rebuilt / purchased new / or a generic adapted ?

 

The centre inspection hole is there to show a leak in the front plunger seal. If the rear plunger seal is leaking it leaks out the back of the MC.

I just got the MC bored and sleeved. The normal cast ally bore will pit over time alloying fluid past the plungers.
