Hi everyone, My dad last week purchased a 1995 300zx, the 25th anniversary model. He is curious as to what number the car out of the 300 that were made. Does anybody know how to find out what number it is? I have heard that you can potentially from the VIN number.
The 300 number your talking about is related to the USDM 25th anniversary models. The Australian Delivery models only had 30 I believe but were not numbered like the USDM models.
think it was 40 Think it was 40 ... Now where is the promo folder. 28 April 1995: for immediate release. Only 40 right-hand-drive limited edition z-cars will be built using components manufactured in California, USA. Nissan North America had commissioned the construction of 300 virtually identical vehicles - but based on the two-seat twin turbocharged model which is not sold in Australia.
Hi, Yes I knew that there were only 40 released in Australia, I was just curious if there was any way to find out what number it was, perhaps from the VIN number?
Hi Champ, If the car your dad has bought is actually a 25th Anniversary model, you can't miss what build number it is when you look at the VIN.... The VIN for these cars is pretty much all zeros apart from the last two digits - mine's number 38.
If and when you're ready to part with your promo folder / Z32 collector stuff Steven - please keep me in mind!
mine is bigger than yours mine is bigger than yours... Every Japanese, USA, even UK and Europe. Even per-release media material. I will have to take some photos.

Got details on the white one? There is a white 25th for sale near my parents place in Samford. Owned by a young guy since before he got his P's and kept it immaculate. I think he is after about $14k for it.
