sure you can have yours black it will be no trouble at all. And will make no difference to prep to paint as it will need to be under coated any way. only benefit will be that it will look good when first put on the car, you could drive it straight away before the respray. lol
Sounds good My vented bonnet has been on my car for about 8 months and is just as I bought it but looks bloody good as is lol. I think it's just black gel coat. Thanks Sport.
Gonz do the next black one and fit it on your beast Once you have fitted it on your car and show us what the end result should and will look like. Good marketing too Im waiting for it as i said.....Well done mate  :bow2:
LOL, well yeah i'm gonna get it painted. My drivers door is faded to $hite, and I smashed my front bar. So i've been waiting for the wide body and then i'll get the whole car done I love black but it's damn tempting to go a wild color aswell. decisions decisions........... Ben
ok put one on my car - sheesh mine might be the last to get done. And I only started this because I wonted one. Ok then I will done one for me if you insist. lol
WHERE TO GET WIDER WHEELS TO SUIT WIDEBODY KIT ?? I am going to be needing a new set of rims (custom made)to suit the widebody kit . Any good manufacturers in Australia or distributors of such ?
I hear this is a manufacturer in australia that does custom wheels, but I forget the name. BBS maybe? are they australian? ahh I think it's ROH actually, that rings a bell.
Yeah Ben Roh do them works out at around $550 a rim for 18's I looked into it a while ago the choices are very limited however. I am looking at some custom Jap rims for the Beet kit and should work out around the same sort of price for reasonably decent ones
rims for wide body kits ...??? ... are there decent 17'' rims which would work on a wide body kit ...????
Gonzo is it possiable you can get the bottom of this kit as just a side skirt ? i imagine fitting it at the rear would be a problem ?
just the side skirts Sure I could whip up a full piece side skirt from one of these kits. But would you wont the front flare or just a straight line. Would you wont the rear vent or just a straight line. If it were all straight then it could be attached just like any side skirt. if wonted it the other (front flare with rear vent ) then it could be moulded onto the car to make it seamless.
excuse the bad photoshop attempting But this is one way it mite look with front flare cut off and rear vent still in place.
Cant wait to see the wide body on your car Gonzo. I think it will be wthe thing that will make more people appreciate this awesome kit strosek designed to compliment the already beautiful curves of the zed.
Hey Gonz mate buddy pal..... How's things progressing? It's been a while since any updates that's all. Thanks mate Ben
Im doing a members guards this weekend. So Im going to be doing all the orders very soon. Hopefully one every weekend from now on the finish up the orders. just needed to buy all the martials to keep me going.
What sorta guards if you don't mind me asking? I was looking at some kind of vented opening in the guards but wasen't sure how it would fit in with the side skirt moulding. Ben
