This is a good car, but it needs a six-monthly oil change and the odometer has only progressed by 300 kilometers. It just doesn't get used. It sits in the carpeted garage with the battery disconnected, while my daily driver sits in the rain. I've got it advertised on carsales.com.au at $12,500 and it has got to go. (You can find it by searching the number plate, I'm told, which is 111 GQT - full details and photos are there.) My Z is wine red, and in excellent condition. Nothing is missing. It's a genuine 92 model, 88,000 on the clock and the engine is very strong. I've got the paperwork including log since I bought it with 53K on the clock. It's had most of the basic mods done to bring it up to modern spec, including under-drive pulley, pod filter, air cooler for the auto, braided brake lines, central locking, alarm, cruise control to 146km (thanks to K-Zed). Other extras include spoiler on the back (like the 2000 model), excellent paint, beautiful 17" mags, nardi steering wheel, $550 worth of tailor made woolen seat covers, CD player and newish speakers, a spare PTU, and a variety of other extras that I can't recall at the moment. It also launches well enough ... leaves my falcon for dead. And unlike the XR8 I drove recently, it doesn't feel like a sponge cake (maybe the Ford has better pick up over 120kmh, but I very rarely go there). I've been a member of this forum since I bought the car 5 years ago. I hope to return to the "darkside" when I get back from overseas and have alternate car accommodation.
