Its time.... i have to sell off my zed i was bitten my the mod bug and its taken sooo much of my money, now im going back to uni full time and i wont have funds to keep her going. ive spent thousands of dollars getting her looking good and recently i was unfortunate to be a victim of vandalism and i cant afford to get her fixed up and i cant bare to see my baby like this so im putting it up for sale. RX8 colour 5sp manual targa 133,000kms (seem genuine but cant be sure) Non Turbo 4 seater (2+2) Mods -Full respray velocity red - Full custom interior black and cream (beautifully done, wuth help from platinum car audio + interior) - Apexi air filter - Front strut bar - Nismo short shifter - Genuine Nismo leather gear knob - TEIN coil-overs - Genuine nissan uerethane Spec2000 front bar with new indicators - 5% window tints all round (except windscreen) - painted Calipers red - 19" apec apache wheels tyres 235/35/19 - alarm and central locking (alarm recently stopped working ???) - Brazilian... rear wing taken off, welded and painted -280mm Isotta steering wheel Audio JVC dvd player with aux for ipod - Automatic fold out screen 7" screen - quality Infinity 6.5" splits - Infinity amp big power... aproxx 500w RMS - 12" pioneer sub in a carpeted box Recently done - Tailshaft bearing has been repaced with a brand new one $700 - Clutch Slave cylinder just replaced seal etc - New Pivot stud installed - Clutch checked when gearbox off, still good. - Tyres are fairly new still like 75-90% tread - New wipers and blades Problems - Bonnet needs replacing coz of vandalism damage - new gurads, nose panel, New spec2000 bar on recentrly fitted need painting - missing drivers side mirror -car needs a buff after new paint job - drivers window doesnt go down, fault with a plug, easy fix - left oxygen sensor faulty and the car needs a general service -few small dents Extras - targa bags -targa shades - boot cover - Genuine jspec carpet mats with metal Z logo - spare key + spare alarm button - Car is very low but can height can be adjusted on coil overs - I have a can of glasurit paint that should be more than enought to repray new panels, so ull only need to pay for painter to spray. Gl;asurit is used by mercedes and my cousin is a painter for mercedes.... if needed he will paint the car for a very cheap cost. Car still drives every day perfectly every day and still has rego till mid July after looking at carsales.com etc i feel that if i got all the issue fixed my car could fetch around $13,500 with all mods ive estimated that it would cost max $2000 to get the car in excellent condition again. Gorgeous car .. some lucky person maybe P plater is going to get a VERY nice pick up.. Do you have any pictures of the damage from the rats that attacked ur car?? And damn those wheels look .. well.. lowered much? haha. very clean and nice interior good colour combination.
pics of the damage will be up soon, just got it in the workshop checking for any major problems... theyve said so far its looking good, engine is running fine etc. very low... thanks for the comments.... its ognna be sad to see it leave, ive had a few calls so hopefully it goes soon.
hey mate i called you yesterday about your zed. am i able to come round on saturday and have a look? i'm parting out my old zed now and am just waiting for the engine to sell. would you be interested in selling without the wheels?
yeh u can come look at it on saturday ittll be at a friends workshop in fivedock though, depending on the time.... give me a call whenever to organize it... id sell without the wheels but i wont drop the price by much coz 2nd hand rims are hard to get good $$$ for these days...
I saw this car few weeks ago on homebush bay drive in the evening certainly caught my eye as it sat very low Wasn't to clean thou looked like it had been sittin around for ages. Wish there was a well moddified n/a like this when i bought mine, good price too

random audio setup question... random question...I see you have 6.5 splits..where did u place the tweeter? and howd u get ur wooffer to fit str8 in..ive got focals and have to make a whole new speaker casing just for the woofer and am unsure of where others have ut the tweeter in the zed for optimal sound.. one very nice lookin zed..
a whole new timber frame/braket was made for inside the door trim and i mounted the tweeter on the plastic part where the side mirrors are.... sounds really good and having the tweeter a little higher stages the acoustics well....
hey mate have you still got this for sale? i'm a bit depressed atm coz i miss the sound of an N/A zed... so i'm thinking about selling the sil before i start to waste money on it. let me know if you still have it... pretty keen for a vg again
