    Hey guys,

after over a year of owning this car, the time has come to sell.
It's not been easy going, with a hell of a lot of maintenance performed whilst i've owned the car, but it is running sweet as now.
See below for list of maintenance done at mechanics and maintenance i've done myself.

sorry for bad quality pic, will get some proper ones taken tomorrow.

    Quick details:

    105k
    Metallic black,
    2+2 targa (with shades!)
    Auto
J-spec (digital aircon, power switch, etc)
    QLD rego til july
    alarm and stereo

    Work done:

100k service (2 years / 10k ago)- rechecked and replaced idler pulleys in 2008 (AMEC)
Hyper flex rear bushings kit replacement including removal and refitting of rear subframe (AMEC)
plenum pull and rear main seal (AMEC)
    replace diff (AMEC)
    replace p/s pump (AMEC)
    replace starter motor (AMEC)
    replace CTS (AMEC)
TPS adj and removal of AIVS (AMEC)
    Transmission mount replacement (AMEC)
    replace tailshaft centre bearing (AMEC)

    Stuff i've done:

    replace o2 sensors
    bypass detonation sensor
fix up all injector connectors (ie remove all corrosion, re-crimp female connector, and re-fit)
fix up all other connectors in engine bay as above
    replace tps (correctly adjusted)
    fit a series 2 ptu
Recent oil changes- engine, diff, tranny

remove valve body from auto gearbox, replace upper solenoid pack (the main cause of gearbox probs), test and replace valve body
    replace drop resistor
    replace battery

Overall, now this is a great car with most of the crappy problems that happen to a 300zx dealt with. Fuel economy is great and car starts on the button, idle is spot on, and power is there throughout the rev range.

No fault codes stored on both ECU and gearbox ECU.

There's about $6k in major recent receipts within the last 12 months for work carried out, plus all the stuff I have done to it too.

    Bad bits:

small chunk on front guard, scratches on front bumper (should re-spray easily enough, couple of little dents on bodywork, no boot carpet, slight vibration from tailshaft around 80kmh (centre bearing was not balanced properly when fitted) which I may be able to get sorted this week.

please contact me on andrewpape @ hotmail.com for more details.

Car is in West End, Brisbane. Will go on carsales.com.au in the next week or so.

    more pics to follow soon.....

    Sorry dude,

part exchanges / swaps will be considered as i've not got a replacement yet, but am looking at something more modern (with working water pump :) ). Email: andrewpape @ hotmail.com

Have also been looking at the 350z / RX8s too

with smoked indicators, side reflectors and the red and white tail lights (thats like what? $600 all up, if that) It would be a prime car.

This is back up for sale as i've bought an old XB falcon so need to make room!
Done a bit more work since it was first up for sale:

    repairs / maintenance:

replace auto box with a solid TT auto box
replace 4 injector connectors which were a bit corroded / cracked
replace rear shocks (doing this at the weekend)
fixed up the tailshaft centre bearing (no vibration at all now)

    Cosmetic:
Caz 300zx seat covers for both front and rear
All interior tweed trim replaced with good quality black suede (looks awesome- will get some pics take over the weekend).
clear side repeaters now which gives it a way more modern look.

also forget to mention it has the Navan auto shifter which is pretty sought after.

    Scrubs up nicely!

    Open to reasonable offers.

    Cheers :)

    Updated photos

Taken some new photos today after giving it a bit of a wash and cleaning up the rego plates- man they were filthy!

Also showing some pics of the new interior. It's black suede but in some photos it looks kinda grey. Basically all tweed panels have been recovered in suede. Looks good!

Also got a boot carpet now and front bumper scratches have been fixed up.
