Comments: After a few years of ownership, lots of money, blood, sweat and tears I'm selling my 300zx. As I no longer live at home the car is no longer suitable for me as it is really a weekend car (well its not really good as a daily for me) and I've lost all motovation to work on it. It has had alot of work done to it over the years:

*Engine Rebuilt 5000k's ago by Rollin
    *ARP bolts all round
    *Cometic Metal Headgaskets
    *Chromoly Rings
    *Port Dag Cleaning
    *Full Engine Balance
*Brand new Water and Oil Pumps
    *GFB Underdrive Pulley
    *Chromoly Lightened Flywheel
    *Excedy Heavy Duty Clutch
    *Nistune Ready ECU
    *Nismo 555cc Injectors
*Brand New Engine Harness with S2 PTU
    *Front Mount Intercooler
    *Large Koyo Radiator
*Twin 2.5" Exhausts with Tuneagent Dump Pipes and new O2 Sensors
    *ATR25 300hp Turbos from Hypergear
    *Twin KN Pod Filters
    *Carbon Fibre Driveshaft
    *Brake booster brace "Chilli Brace"
    *Braded Clutch and Brake lines

*Full body respray with spoiler and rear wiper removed. Holes were welded up. Work done by Camerons Body Works in Slacks Creek
*Genuine Kamanari Side Skirts, Door fillers and Rear Skirt with UAS Front Bar and Gonzo Nose
    *Full Black Leather interior
*300KM Speedo and all gauges in White
*Autometer Boost gauge and Water temp gauge on A-Pillar
    *HID Headlights
*Pioneer Headunit in brand new console running 2x 4channel Fusion Amps.
*Pioneer 6" Splits in the front and 6x9's in the rear (All amped and in stock speaker locations)
*Duel 10" Subs in Custom Boxes as to not take all the boot space
*Brand new rear carpet with sound deadening in the boot
*17x8 and 17x9 AVS Wheels with Bridgestone Adrenalin Tyres

The car made 271rwkw @ 17psi but the car currently is running 13psi (I removed the boost controller as it wasn't functioning correctly). When very hot car has a missfire under deceleration, just need new

coil packs to fix the problem.

Here are the pics (I'll get an interior shot tomorrow).

Please feel free to contact me regarding the engine work that was done and the overall condition of the car. This vehicle has been maintained and modified to a very high standard and i would absolutely recommend it to any buyer.

    Can you eloborate on

"The car made 271rwkw @ 17psi but the car currently is running 13psi (I removed the boost controller as it wasn't functioning correctly). When very hot car has a missfire under deceleration, just need new

coil packs to fix the problem."

What was the boost controller doing that made you remove it?

Missfire under decelleration can mean that its running lean. Who did the tune? Is this the case?

If the misfire is as simple as a coil pack, why have you not replaced it, when you have spent so much time and money on it so far? It leads to the conclusion of something more sinister causing the issue......

Surely if you fixed this the car would attract much more interest, and potentially fetch a higher price...

They are some good and reasonable concerns there Fuzz300. Along with Niall, I can also vouch for this car as I went all over it last week with a very detailed inspection, Marc is being 100% honest here. I am sure Marc will chime in with a response to settle any nervous buyers.

    Hey,

I say the misfire is due to the coil packs (not 1 coil pack, its multiple coil packs) as when I had the car tuned etc the people tuning the car found little cracks in the coil packs. They did repairs on it and it fixed the idle of the car. I haven't replaced the coilpacks because I just can't afford it. I wouldn't replace them with 2nd hand ones, I would go out and get brand new ones (about 600 bucks).

As for the boost controller. I had it set to 17psi (electric boost controller) and on a cruise when I boosted the car, it went over 20psi (gauge I have stops at 20) and it didnt miss a beat. I removed the boost controller as really 13psi is all I needed and I didn't want to spend the money for a new one.

I've spent ALOT of money on this car, and I really can't afford to spend anymore on it. I actually owe my parents $2000 already. Home ownership changes alot of things and you have to know when to bite the bullet and say stop (and growing older most probably has another thing to do with it).

As the others have said, I dont like to beat around the bush when it comes to my cars. So ask away if you have any more questions.

    Marc.
