This car will be on Carsales soon for 7000, but I've decided to chuck it on here first to see if anyone wants it.

After some long deliberation, 2 years of attempting to get this thing on the road, I have decided to chuck this out here to see if I can get some funds to purchase another Z.
Here is the previous FS link with pictures which are pretty much current aside from the rims (which are now polished stockies): http://www.aus300zx.com/forum/showthread.php?t=313051

The story in a nutshell is this, I purchased this car 2 years ago with the intent to do an engine swap, problem being the person I took it to was Brytech, so as we all know, he stole it and stripped it, I got it back 9 months later with police intervention.

The things that had been stolen were the engine and transmission, the apexi avcr and the turbo timer.
I have re-installed the engine and transmission, and it is pretty much in Victorian Roadworthy condition so that can be supplied upon sale, Rego can also be supplied at additional cost.

Extra things added since previous purchase:

Bluetooth adapter for Consult, you can diagnose this thing with your phone :D
Custom NA exhaust that sounds pretty good in my opinion.
It's been changed to manual ;).
Digital Designs 12" 1000RMS sub with matching Amp.
2 10" Subs with amps, these are in a 2+0 box but can be wired up for a temp
Spare 3" Exhaust (full exhaust) with Genuine HKS carbon fibre cannons.
    Spare Plenum Gaskets
CZP Subframe Sleeve Kit with Energy Suspension Bushings (not installed)
Z1 Side Mount Intercoolers (For the swap if you choose to do it, brand new)
Accusump Engine Pre-luber. (Negotiable into asking price)
Includes a Whole bin of spare parts including every pipe you will need to do a TT swap.

    The good:

BRAND NEW OEM Wiring Harness (LHD but coils up nicely)

Paint is in decent condition, needs a cut and polish to bring it back into its former glory.

The coil overs are in great condition still, have set the ride height to legal Vic requirements.

Brand new fog lights and 2k spec indicators (re-purchased as previous were cracked)

Comes with plenty of spare parts if you can pick them up, includes 2 sets of subs and amps.

If you are in Vic, I can include the numberplate ZDEX at additional cost

Has had HICAS deletes including all the lines.

Brand new energy suspension bushings for most of the components except subframe.

Spacers added for more Lock on the steering rack with z33 tie rods.

No leaks, might need to purchase a new slave cylinder though as the pin was faulty (brand new aftermarket model, just crappy pin)

    Brand new battery Cables

    Adjustable FPR with gauge (Monza)

    Brand New Whiteline Swaybars

    New Silicon Radiator Hoses

    Brake Master Cylinder Brace Kit

    Nismo Red Stitched Shift Knob

    Nagisa Auto Fender Braces

    The bad:

I've routed out most of Brytechs dodgy work (including his snipping of wiring in places where they shouldn't be snipped :( ) however, some remnants do remain, there are grind marks on the firewall where he had cut a small hole near the wiring harness, I had to grind a bit more to get rid of sharp pieces, but this can be welded and smoothed over once you do an engine swap.

I suspect a head gasket leak, however it doesn't overheat and has plenty of power for an NA, however this car is begging to be changed back to TT, so it will run fine until you do a swap.

Again, I suspect a heater core leak, can't confirm it as the current block has had the heater lines bypassed due to a stud in the block, so this is another reason for that engine swap.

Air con lines were snapped, so you will need to replace the lines if you want working air con.

Might need to replace sensor on boot lock, or just move around the interior a little bit as it isn't connecting properly all the time.

The 2k Spec Front has a bit of paint flaking off it on the top right, will need a respray if you want perfection.

Overall, this car is just begging for a TT swap, but can get you where you want to go in the meantime, the parts coming with this car and the parts already on this car are worth more than the asking price, you could pretty much sell most of the spare parts coming with this and make enough to do the engine swap

The car is a great base, handles beautifully and the all leather interior makes it a pleasure to look at every time I hop in, it's just been too much to deal with, I've done all the hard yards fixing everything that Brytech screwed up, it's up to the next owner to do an engine swap.

If you would like more pictures (current) text me and I'll send them to you via phone.
    Any questions, just ask.

    Cheers,

    Aidan
