yeah he is a top guy but so hard to get in touch with, unless you call non stop for a week straight :p:p:p

i just use my local nissan and they can get me every part he has listed for the same or lesser price so i would rather that..

however the 2k spec shift knob and boots were brilliant,
would rebuy in a heart beat,

Kudos to you Zedhead if you assist with this business. It has awesome potential but like any good business, great service is key. Simon has good intentions but if poeple knew his priority's they would understand the situation which is no excuse I know :(

Well its about time some1 stood up for us. I actually thought i could assist simon myself and was going to put the idea to him as i wasnt working very much. But i figured he wouldnt want the help and would rather not pay me for something he barely does. I gave up on simon after my last order which took about 3 months to arrive. But if you do take over Ross you'll be hearing from me for orders.

.. it really is a strange scenario ... the website and parts listing was great, a real resource ..

but to run a part time business and then ignore the customer base is beyond me ....

at one point, Crestajohn was keen to take over the business but that too, was not taken up/ignored ...

I am going to be honest... I made an order on TTZed once, and it came pretty quickly without me having to chase it up. Obviously this was before I had read through threads like this full of horror stories!!! (o_o) I guess I must've just got lucky!

Hey mate, if you do end up going ahead with this and helping out, I have a bunch of stuff I would be interested in ordering. Cheers :)

I ordered quite a few things and had good experiences as well... it was just this one that turned sour, but yeah - I'm still lucky compared to others!

    Payments?

Baz I know it's TTZ's policy to only charge a credit card once the order has actually been shipped?

Were you actually charged for the dash mat?? .......but just never received it?
Of so that could be a delivery issue??

    Pricing!

Well like I said the TTZ website prices are badly in need of an update! I'm pretty sure TTZ will be more than competitive with any local NISSAN dealer! ;)........so please keep us in mind in future??

    It's a start 90TTZ .......

well I hope my help will start re-building members confidence in TTZ.....again!
Blondie did a great job during her tenure......but Jen was there all day a few days a week........I won't be able to commit to the same amount of hours as it will be in my spare time!.......but I hope to be able to improve things from the current status! ;)

I have had the privilege to get to know Simon personally whilst organising a few GB's here for the forum!...... & I can honestly say you wouldn't find a nicer & more helpful guy!......it's just hard to catch him because he actually runs another major business!.....& as such his free time for TTZ is EXTREMELY limited!......so hopefully that's where I might be able to improve things a little!

TTZ started purely because Simon was a very early forum member (he owns 3 Z's! :zlove:) who was in the position to get better pricing on parts!.......he then started offering fellow members the benefit of this & things grew from there!

    Orders.....

Adam often the issue with orders is that say out of 5 parts ordered, 4 may be in stock now & the 5th will be on 'back order' - either with Coz or with NISSAN?......this can then take weeks or even months for NISSAN to supply the back order! & as a result the whole order is delayed waiting for this 1 part!

In future I hope to be able to let members know this much earlier in the order process & give them a choice of waiting for the full order or sending out the part order immediately & then the back order when it finally arrives??......it's just means slightly increased shipping costs for the customer??......but if the parts are required urgently then the customer may prefer this option??

    Si.....I will only be P/T!

I also have a full time job so I won't be taking over as such!.......I will be doing what I can afterhours a few regular times a week to work with Simon to facilitate orders & enquiries!........but hopefully it will be a step in the right direction! ;) At least people will know they will have replies at least within a few days etc!

    C'mon Barry!

Even Coz sometimes has no stock too & has to rely on NISSAN getting off their backsides! :p:p

Si is correct!.......but local pricing from NISSAN will hopefully prove to be a little more competitive through TTZ now considering the state of the Aussie $ at the moment! In fact it's even bringing in increased interest from O/S to buy through TTZ because of the current exchange rates!

As far as Coz goes........Coz supplies TTZ at trade prices with bulk shipping etc! So hopefully if I can improve things on the local front it may mean parts are just as cost effective to buy here! & Coz still ultimately gets the sale anyway!

Why don't people just use CAZ if they want a local parts supplier? Or does she not have as much range?

Everyone get ready to be shafted by Nissan.

I went to get a few things last week. I needed the small rubber cover that fits over the top of the steering shaft on the steering rack.

They quoted $30  It would cost 20 cents to make.

And $55 each for OEM steering rack rubber boots.

LMAO They want these cars to DIE

Cost $40 for all the rack bits I needed from the rebuild place

Shit, maybe this only applies to local Nissan? If COZ's prices stay the same, makes more sense to get stuff from him, especially if buying several parts in one go..
