Good point, I have nothing further to say here. Nice job derailing the thread this far JShrimpyShrimp.

Before you call me a liar or say I'm on a witch hunt, perhaps this will jog your memory.

That's Ben from Driftworks calling you out on providing AMS with their HICAS kit for copying. Remember now? You went silent for about a week after that. Probably practicing your spin moves, saying the same "oh, I sold that due to financial hardship" BS you used with the Massives and the IC pipes.

SZ had a set of their DP's crack. User error, has been documented. And if SZ didn't make their pipes, who would AMS oops, I mean, Alloy Toyz copy?

Ash's piping kit seemed to be a bit of a bear to install in comparison to other similar piping kits IIRC based on a tt.net member's comparison between the varous kits he's installed. Your memory is failing you in your old age. Again, with out the Ash kit, who would AMS copy? Border? Border 60mm piping had been around for years, so why didn't AMS just copy theirs rather than waiting for Ash to release his? Dunno, but they did. And they copied the V1s, which fit like crap.

    SPL's Ver 1.0 FUCA's were a failure. No they weren't

The Selin Translator still seems to show signs of issues when in close proximity to extranneous RF energy. - Funny, it's the one thing that AMS can't figure out how to copy. Probably because it's not just some simple pipe or ICs. BTW, the new Selins have no issues.

There are hundreds of issues of AMS parts failing. However you, Vuk, Mungy and other fanbois go so far as to blame the customer rather than offering solutions. You downplay it and say "what did AMS say when you contacted them about their warranty?" Why would anyone want another piece of dung if the first piece was dung?

"Because they know all they sold ya was a guaranteed piece of sh_t. That's all it is, isn't it? Hey, if you want me to take a dump in a box and mark it guaranteed, I will. I got spare time."

Apologies in advance to any mods or other members I may have offended with this offshoot. I just hate seeing this clown misinforming members about products and their histories.

I just wish the stupid Americans would shut up about AMS (and basically anything not made in America) and stay on their own forums, at the end of the day it is the customers money and they can spend it on whatever they want. The majority of people will do their own research before purchasing and make up their own mind!!

  3. Only Americans shouldn't complain about things here? Canadians and everyone else is accepted, but not Americans?

I'm not stupid, but thanks?

There are PLENTY of great products not made in the US. Some good stuff even comes from *gasp* China.

The problem is some people do their research, see a glowing review from John about AMS O2 sensors/brake pads/whatever the turd of the week is. They go by his review, and buy them, only to have it fail on them within 500 miles and then get blamed for the failure or offered a replacement turd.

The entire Z community would be better off without AMS. I'll stop ranting, as I'm sure to piss people off.

There you go again... I rest my case, how many times on how many forums in how many threads do you have to say it!!

You have also got to remember what costs you $500 from Z1 can cost other people nearly double that with exchange rates and tax etc. Not everybody can afford the expense stuff, everytime.

Johns been here for a while so we kind of know where he stands on certain things.
Not like some recent members who seem to think we need enlightening by derailing every thread on this forum that mentions AMS to further there cause.
Any publicity is good publicity, right?

We, you've had two Canadians in Vuk and John come in to plug their own interests in hopes of padding their bank accounts. As a fellow Canadian I am here to say AMS is not the innovative company they pretend to be.

It is easily fixed all they need to do is to get the American copiers (Z1, MSP, AshSPEC etc) to drop their prices by 50%.
