    After a long wait at last everything is ready to bolt and start the project.

    What was the deal with the motor, you imported it or something yeah? already built up?

    so many awesome builds at the mo...

    Yes it is a rebuilt engine imported from japan. Had TD06 turbos which was sold before I bought the engine.

    what did you paint the cam covers with.. im lookin to do a metallic darkish red while my engine is out for my build project.. kinda like zed4life's cam covers

    2pack paint, same as the car. used base coat before paint them. the color is metalic dark red but camera didn't pickup.

    It is very close to color shed like below...

    yeah i thought just goin 2 pack but worried under bonnet temps and especiallly cam covers aint gonna last????

    looks hot cant wait to finnish mine :zlove:

    haha, you blanked out the plate but you can see the numbers in the reflection :p

    whats up with the rust on the cams, engine sitting for a while?

    AWESOME potential here, what gearbox are you going to run? dogbox? :D

    That number plate doesn't exist anymore.
    stock TT gearbox for now. :D unless I can have the gearbox from Mr TT.

    thats just a new OEM TT gearbox, and you can stay away :p

    car is looking sexy and awsome set of gear going in


    are these the plastic pipe with the ripples in it that go from the filter to the turbo in the eng bay ???

    Looks mighty fine atm. Loving the red. Looks real spesh. Are you having a chromed/polished Plenum?

    One thing though, have you reused the old belt tensioner?

    Do you have to bash in the chassis rails to get those turbo's to fit?

    chris.. please... use the correct terms

    id you have to pleasure the rails by rubbing baby oil on them to smoothly lubricate yout baby enought to get your big engine in.
