The PTFE in nulon types also breaks down under high temp and pressure into flouro and poly compounds/ chains which are highly corrosive to metal - not ideal for bearings or journals in anything but as always with oils, it is manageable if you change regularly before it builds up in corrosive quantities. Many synthetics also carry other additives that also break down into corrosives such as sulphur etc. Its a tough choice when it comes to transmission oils, but I think the key is to just change regularly regardless. Redline MT90 is my choice - it meets the specs
might try and rig up a breather hose that terminates into a little catch tank where the aivs previosly were ... or just bight the bullet and get some mt90

Just noticed the breather pipe looks different - this one is for the diff whereas the tranny one is a 180 degree pipe - hard to find even with a part number!
